When I pull the bed off this summer, I'll be able to clean up the surface crap and paint, and know I have a solid frame to service me for years to come.

People think I'm crazy for washing my undercarriage (esp. the spring hangers) as soon as it's warm enough that the hose doesn't freeze.
But my truck is 24, and my frame is still solid.
We are also snowed in here in Sanford, NC. I am waiting when the snow lets loose from
my garage metal roof when I have to shovel it away. Where are you located in NC

i lived down in camp Le jeune back in the early 80s we got like 1 inch and they shut the town down.was with an eng. bt. so they had us plow the roads and stuff out in town.but that was the only snow i saw down there in 5 years
yea uncle sams mislead children had me in some funny places we went to cali of all places for cold weather mt warfare school,and the same state for desert warfare gotta love the CA.it has all the weather you can want in 1 state
