I was wondering if any of you guys try to get the insides of the doors sandblasted/ mediablasted up inside the areas around the windows. the part of the door that wraps around the windows.
or do you just coat them with something? I have never had any blasting done, just did what I can do with my cheapy harborfrieght suction tube type.
it looks like it would be a PITA even so, would it really get cleaned out in there?
Anything that's going to be up that high would be just benign, inactive surface rust. Just like the stuff you'd find under the dash. Nothing to worry about or do anything about. You can do more damage than good by trying to make it "better" imho. It's been the way it is for 60 years. It won't be a bigger problem in our lifetime.
