What else can I do?
I am running out of things to do to my truck right now. Well actually theres a bunch of stuff that needs to be done, but the problem is that I dont have a whole lot of money to spend on it right now. So do you guys have any ideas of things that I can do for free or really cheaply, because I really want to keep working on it, but I have used all my money doing important necessary things to it. Its a 79 F150 4X4 Custom Shortbed, thanks for any ideas!

What else can I do?
Cleaning, scraping the Gooo off, put penetrating oil on all of the bolts and nuts. Remove all the funky aftermarket wiring and solder all connections. Clean all of the elec connections and grease them with Silicone Dielectric grease.

You could pressure wash the frame and paint it. If you wanted to, you could undercoat the cab after you cleaned the underside. Like Torque 1st stated , remove all the added connections and wiring that are not needed. Solder the connections and heat-shrink them to prevent moisture from getting in. You could even paint the inside of the cab and engine compartment if you wanted. Hope this helps you out some.

You could remove the carpet and see that the floor is dry, and that any rust hasn't started. The insulation under the carpet can hold a lot of moisture and start rusting the floor. If this is the case clean it up and prep and repaint it with epoxy. I did this to mine.
