door locks by itself

I have 2005 F350 when you close the passenger door the lock nobe on the door will drop down a fricton than the door is locked. how to fix this?

1. do a computer reset (link below) and see if that fixes it.

2. verify fuses

3. Then you are into wiring issues, broken / chafe/ shorted, etc.

Same problem

I have this same problem if anyone can help, 2000 driver side. The power lock hasn't worked in years. It seems to just drop slightly when closing the door hard.
