I have an appointment on Monday to have my DRL lights turned on.
Are there any other cool settings I can ask them to activate or deactivate?
I plan to ask the tech to drop the TPMS threshold 10 pounds although I suspect they will play the liability card.
I was thinking of having the passenger chime turned off.
Any other ideas? I don't even know what is available.
When I had my Z06 I had the TechStream manual so I printed all the pages and highlighted what I wanted changed. The tech was surprised but happy to help since it was easy for him.
I got the DRLs turned on today. The dealer did not charge me. The service guy seemed a little bewildered by my programming request.
My TPMS does not go off until less than 50 PSI so maybe it is programmed lower already? I have Michelins on 20" rims. When I bought the truck the TPMS was squawking at me (They were 45PSI at the dealer, probably t make the ride smoother and easier to sell?) but I have run the tires at 60F/55R for the whole time I have had the truck with no TPSM alert.
What is the deal with the rubber valve stems? I much prefer the metal ones.
I hope that someday we can compile a list of all the "normal" programmable values. I bet there are some pretty cool ones available.
I am anxiously awaiting the February availability of the Ford IDS system upgrade that will allow reprogramming fuel tank capacity to match my Titan tank.
