Pulling Codes
I have a 1999 EB Expedition and the check engine soon light came on. Do I need a computer to pull codes. Any tricks to get them( turning key on off three times like a dodge ) or should I invest in a computer? Thanks in advance,

Go to a local chain auto parts store and have them read the codes.
Write down the actual fault codes (not the generic descriptions).
Do NOT let the parts monkey attempt to diagnose the fault.
Come back here and use the SEARCH tool to find previous discussion(s) about your fault codes. Read and study, ask questions for clarification if needed.
