Bashed Quarter Panel Corner
I dented the passenger quarter panel on my 85 bronco very badly by backing into a wall, and the spare tire carrier bracket hit, and dented the metal in quite a bit. I can't afford to pay for a body shop to fix it, so i'm going to try to fix it myself. I tried taking the bolts out of the carrier bracket and popping it back out with my slide hammer. This did absolutely nothing. Either the mounting point is incredibly strong, or i am too weak. Can i get to the back of it at all? Any suggestions at all are welcome because i would really like to get this fixed.

Might I suggest aquiring a corner from the salvage yard and cutting out the old? It would be easier than trying to pull out the dent which will require filler anyway if you cannot access the backside of the panels.

The 85, if the carrier was an option consist of a xtra strengthining quarter panel piece welded inside the tail light area.I just got one for my 78 bronco.I once sorta fix my rear quarter edge by usining a cut piece of wood or meta lwhich I cut to fit behind the inside of the tail light inner bracket area and manually winched it out a little.
