the line on the bottom of the frame is the supply, the one above it is the return. is that what you were asking?

im going to put in a little helper/ lift pump on my supply line in front of the front tank to help keep constant pressure against my main pump. just as a preventative thing to help my pump last longer and to maintain pressure for my bigger injectors but mainly cause i have a pump sitting in my toolbox and am bored haha

iam not sure, but i think putting pressure to the fuel pump might make it wear out faster

im only going to put 4 psi to it so it should be fine. it is more just to keep the pressure at the main pump constant since its pulling all the way from the tanks by itself. like a lift pump on a cummins. and i am going to wire it so that it will only run when the top pump is going as to not put un needed pressure on it, if it doesnt work i am planning on replacing the entire fuel system anyways and going with dual hpops i just needed somethin to do lol

let us know how it works out. take a walk next door and visit our neighbours in the IDI forum. they add electric fuel pumps and my have some insight on adding pressure to the mechanical one

so i got my inline electric pump put in tonight. it went pretty well. as i said before i went with just a 4 psi pump to help out the mechanical pump in the valley. as of now it is wired up as a key on thing but i may wire it to a switch because my acc position on the ignition doesnt work and i dont want the pump to be going just listening to the radio. i havent decided yet though. as far as effects that i noticed... on startup it started about the same but right off the bat i noticed that it idled a lot smoother than before and sounded alot smoother also. i only got a chance to drive it around the block a few times but i noticed that it seemed to run smoother also. better throttle response and not so much drop between shifts. the biggest difference i noticed was when i switched to my extreme setting. before there was not much difference between my 100 setting and 140 but now you can feel more power between the two settings instead of being about the same. all in all i think it was worth the 40 bucks and about a hour work

Never heard of that done before, good info.

Do you just have it on the front tank then or hooked to both??
