Not sure which line is return.Just want to add you might want to think about adding a filter to you PS. It's an in-line transmission filter but works great on the PS..I change mine once a year...Just my .02

It's the rubber hose on the top of the hydroboost unit. I used Mercon V synthetic 4 qts. I added app. 4 inches of hose to the boost unit and added the above mentioned Magnefine filter.
