clutch failure

Clutch doesn't disengage, pedal stays down and master cylinder is full
Can it be the slave cylinder or just need a bleed job somehow?

Pull the cap off and raise the pedal manually, then depress once. That should press any air out.

Then top it off, and try again.
Other then that, get out the tools and drop the tranny or the motor!

That's how the pedal acts with air in the system, or if the master cylinder or slave cylinder are not moving fluid. The fingers on the pressure plate are what returns the clutch pedal back to it's top position. So, you need to figure out why the hydraulic fluid isn't transfering motion to the pressure plate. Air could very well be the reason.

If your clutch WAS working properly and your master cylinder is still full(now you did remove that rubber cup under the master cylinder lid??) I doubt if you have a problem with the slave cylinder. I would suspect the master cylinder or the linkage to it, ie the rod between the clutch pedal and the back of the master cylinder.
