Well I know this is an old thread, I just wanted to update anyone that was interested or is having the same issues. I have now pulled my turbo, and found some issues. The plenum boots were loose, the flange to the exhaust (in previous picture) had worked its way loose, and the EBPV was leaking oil.
I have now put in a newer turbo, deleted the EBPV altogether, and retightened the plenum boots ( I will get the billet inserts from Clay sometime in the near future.) Hopefully this will solve my issues. Thanks for everyones help.
let us know if your ebpv delete improvest fuel millage, i had mind unplugged since we filled up last so we will see if this tank does better then when the ebpv plugged in last tank.. hehehe i bet it will be better you think exhaust restriction should make less mpg
I think I have picked up a mpg.. from the ebpv delete, or maybe it was just my foot lightening up.
On another note, I kept hearing a noise from my front driver side wheel. At first I thought it was a failing wheel bearing, turns out one of my pins was stuck so badly it was damn near impossible to get it out. I guess I will find out tomorrow on my little road trip to Alabama.
When my pins started sticking,I could hear a thump when breaking only under certain cond. When I finally got to it,last fall, I ended up doing all calipers... ouch. But with all that drag gone I did gain some mpg back. Good luck on your trip
Jeff
Well I just got back in. Good trip total of 370 miles, and I ended up with 18mpg (hand calculated of course)!!! So Looks like I am going to investigate the passenger side pins next weekend, just to see.
Well I guess this officially closes this thread! Finally!

Not my pictures, but you can see where they go. They are fairly simple to get out... well if they aren't stuck like mine were. lol
Its nice, simple to use. Easy to reprogram your ECU. You get free updates from Superchips (if you are a PC user... Im a Mac). It seems to help with the MPG's my brother and dad get like 16 without the tuner. Plus you always have a code reader with you. Alot of people don't seem to like them on here, but I personally don't need the performance gains that the DP or custom tunes would offer, nor do I have the cash to fork over...
