Hey I got a question for ya'll. I gotta 76 f100 4wd and the steering box is leaking like a siv. I gotta box from a 78 f250 lined up and I was wondering if it'll fit.
where is it leaking? if it's leaking out the bottom by the pitman arm, loosen the pitman arm and take out the snapring , put the pitman arm back on , put a bucket under the steering box, start truck and turn hard all the way one way then the other, this will usualy blow the seal out. It's the easiest way I've found to get them out.
