quick ECU question

pretty simple, will a 351W computer run a 302 properly?

basically i have two trucks

92 f150 2wd 302 E4OD (clifford from my sig) and a
92-96 (94 or 95 if i remember right) f150 4X4, M5OD, 351W (rollover)

i plan to use the rollover to convert clifford to 4X4.

i know i can just trick the 302 ECU without issue but i figure i got a whole truck so i may as well use it. so i was wondering if the ECU from the 351 will work with the 302 or if i should just trick the 302 ECU and wire up some back up lights.

thanks for your help guys i know the answer is out there i just havent found it yet.

Hmm... It will run for sure but might flood the engine with fuel lol.
And same if it's the other way. A 302 ECU will not supply the needed fuel for the 351

yeah like i said i did a bunch of research on ECUs a while back but for some reason i couldnt remember anything to say it would or wouldnt run it haha.

thats fine though its easy enough to trick the 302 ECU into thinking its still an automatic

thanks a bunch bud

I noticed you are running 35x13.50 ground hawgs, 4.56's with a Straight 6. What is your top speed? And that puppy engine must be working hard to get those tires moving. Previous thought I had on my mind was to lift my F150 6 in. and get 35x12.50 and 3.73 or 4.10 gears as I would be running a 393 stroker with a TT setup. I am a crazy son of a gun ain't I. I realize how dumb I'm being because that will take some serious $$$
