blower motor

blower motor

the last two winters my blower will quit blowing air it works fine all summer and fall spring but as soon as it gets cold and wet it quits working, but sometimes it will kick for awhile then stop again only during the coldest part of the year. does anyone have any advice on what to check or other tips would be much appreciated

It could be a corroded fuse 23 under the hood, corroded blower motor relay, bad connection at blower motor, or bad blower motor. Probably the easiest thing is to disconnect the wire to the blower motor and see if it has power. If it does, and the motor does not work, bad blower motor. If it does not, work your way back.

I am assuming it does not work even on high.

My truck leaked water through the windsheild (its replaced now) and would cause my blower to stay on, abs and srs lights, inop wipers and speedo....all do to the GEM. i would check for a leak/water comming into the cab.

i just replaced my resistor and the pig tail harness . i couldnt believe the corrosion in the conn melted pins gone . now she works sweet wes
