Interior Lighting
As big as this thing is on the inside, I would think they'd have better lighting. I noticed it tonight. Anyone upgrade theirs? Add any? I dont want it to be cheesy just brighter. I'm also used to the lights coming on when you unlock the vehicle with the remote. Any mods for that?

Recon sells upgraded LED lighting for inside for Super Dutys.. not sure if it would be the same for an Excursion. I would assume so, it isn't cheap but I have heard it works very well and is much brighter

The running board lights and interior lights come on with the remote. The head/tail lights do not. It is just a base xlt. I did'nt even think of that stuff when I was shopping. I should have looked for a limited or upgraded xlt but when he accepted my first offer I could'nt hand the cash over fast enough. I'll check into that upgrade. I've got to do something with those lights before I do anything else.

i was told when you upgrade the interior lights to led, the timer stops working and your lights stay on past 10 minutes if you have a door ajar or any other timed shut down of interior/runnign board lights. because they dont have the resistance or something

I have changed all of mine to led even running boards, doors and tag light and everything works the same. I love the look so much better!

bulb question
I am looking to replace the bulbs in my truck and for the interior I have the following:
PC579 for the MAP lights that the driver and passenger would use.
211-2 for the other 4 that are in the rear of the truck.
I have found the LED replacements for 211-2 but I am having NO luck with finding LED for the PC579.
Anyone find replacements for the 2 lights above the driver and front passenger seat? I am looking on the Superbrightled.com website and find nothing.
HELP!
