gear ratio help

ive got a full stock 1989 f150. 5.0 AOD 4x4. what gears are in the 8.8 and d44 rr ifs axles?

That info should be on the vehicle info label located on your driver side door jamb. There is a code for the rear axle type and ratio.

My 1993 F150 has an axle type (19) on the door pillar sticker. Was is this? This is a 4x4 and it sure acts like there is a posi in the rear. Best four wheel drive in two wheel I've ever owned.

nope 3.55 open diffs
