radiator/core support information
Just to let anyone know, a support up to 1979 will bolt right in to your 67 to 72 model trucks. You may have to drill a hole for your hood lock though. I put my 69 ranger grille on my 79 support with no issues. I used the 69 upper plate that the grille bolts to and will need to use the gravel pan from the 69 also.
I want my 79 to have a little bit older look from the front. I like the solid steel or aluminum grilles over the plastic inserts.
I am sure the supports have different part numbers but the shape and bolt holes are in the same locations.Plus all the ones I have for 79 have the evaporator mounting and hole for the lines in the support.

so the older grilles will bolt up to the newer rad supports? i'll be using a newer rad support on my 71 and was hoping i wouldn't have to much trouble bolting it up. also could you take some closer pics of the radiator mount on the support and frame mount
