Zf6 fluid change

Did you flush the cooler when you put this in or just drain and fill?

Here's a pic of the oring on the plugs. It should be up near the lip and um... not pulverized. Does anyone carry these? Guzzle!!!
A 1/2" ratchet with a 3/8" reducer works well to drive them in or out.

My owners manual says that fluid capacity is 5.8qts for a zf6. is that including transfer case, cooler lines and stock radiator cooler? I drained from the bottom on both and was just wondering if I should fill to the top of the fill plugs. I just did a COMPLETE swap from a 97 e40d to a zf6 so everything got drained and flushed.

Transfer case is separate. It has its own fill and drain plugs.
I filled mine to the point of overflow yesterday. I'm going to run it a little to purge the air from my new lines then fill again to overflow. 5.8 might be the drain and fill, not purge capacity. Just have some extra ATF in case.
