Intake help

I purchased a new 400m and had some mods done which included decking the motor. Can I pull my intake manifold off my stock 400m and put it on the new block without any problems or will I need to do something to the intake?

You can but I would spring for an Edlebrock Performer intake. Not that expensive given the labor involved. You would need a 4v carb though. Small size if the engine is mostly stock.

Sorry. The 400m is mostly stock. The intake is already an Edelbrock Performer which was originally told in the message before I edited it. Also, I took a 600 cfm Edelbrock off and am expecting my 650 thunder series any day now. Other than that it was stock. I might even ask what is the best way to clean an old aluminum intake. It has been sitting in the elements ( rain cold sun more rain and cold some sun I live in Wa. state ). It has some white stuff all over it and who knows what grew inside over the last 15 years of exposure.
