Well guys, I am bored with my truck. I love the truck reliable, tough, its great i'm just bored with it. I've had it for less then two years, and want to change something (or it). The only problem is, is that I got a tight budget, with a few body repairs that should get done. A head light bracket that cost $120 from ford, and a rusted rear bumper that costs $512 from ford.
Anyway my question is... What kind of cool things have you guys done on budget?
I got myself a White 1992 F-250 Regular Cab, 351, compleatly stock. The only options the truck came with, is cup holders!
What kinda budget are we lookin at? You could get a nice drop bumper from warn for the price of the ford one. I have been lookin at getting the warn enforcer for the front of mine. $500 from my local shop. A 4" lift kit will only be $600. A body lift less than $100. What are you looking to do?
Rabidranger, if you get a new front bumper, I would like to buy your old one. Mine is smashed up from hitting deer..
Joego, Depends on what you wanna spend, but you can make your truck look as good as anyones. Lots of aftermarket parts and accessories available for the 92-98 body styles. What are you looking to do? Make it a show winner, or an offroad beast? or both?

5.8L...I need headers
4" Skyjacker lift
small 285x75r16 tires... for now anyways
Ford is NOT the place to buy those parts - perfectly good aftermarket direct-replacement bumpers can be had for less than half that, and even less at junkyards. Heck - I have one in a box ready to ship and it's OE off my '96 parts truck, and I'm not even charging what a junkyard would.
Well I don't need a show winner or anything, and since it's a 2wd I don't think it would make a good off road toy, belive me I've tried. All I really want is something that'll make it look cool. Something like a new front valance with fog lights, or even wheels, although that'd be the big bucks!! In the end I think about grand is what I'd like to spend on my beast. In another thread some guy had a billet grill on his 92, something I've been looking for, for a long time, but I didn't really like the look in the end (glad I got to see what it looks like before paying for it Anyway I just really wanted to get some ideas, see what other people have done to their trucks.
Thanks for the replies.
P.S. I almost bought one of those four-point racing harnesses, just for the drivers side as a joke to whoever is riding shotgun.
