If you have 33's go with 4.56. If you have 35's go with 4.88

Welcome to FTE,

I'm a big fan of Ford, Ford has a lot of people working for it that have taken college classes. Then the employees get to work with experienced Truck designers who show them how everything works together and some of those people go on to become Certified Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). It's kinda important and good to have if you're designing, engineering, and building trucks.

So I find it hilarious that others, who've read a magazine article, or seen a episode of "Extreme 4X4", get the idea in their head that they can design engineer and build something better. And they go to the internet to get help.

So I'll be over here laughing, because it's funny.

I've gotten my information from dozens of people, many of which have built Rangers, they have first hand experience.

What I told you is what you need, go ahead and doubt me, you'll regret it later.

Not every vehicle is built the same. The gear ratios I told you only apply to Rangers, other ratios for tire sizes vary by vehicle.

BTW, odometers and speedometers can be corrected for different tires sizes

Don't buy those leveling keys. Just crank up your torsion bars You will not need a gear change for 31" tires

You will usually be in the low to mid 2k range. Power does not change with gear ratio changes, maintenance of your engine will help there.
