I guess its back to the dealer. No matter what setting i have my hvac set to, all the air comes out of my 4 vents. The only way to get a little air out of the defrost is by closing all of the vents. Not good when the front windshield is iced over. I just wondered if anyone else had this problem. Its just hard for me to believe thats somethings wrong with this wonderful truck and i keep thinking its something im doing wrong. I really hate that they might have to tear the console apart to get to the problem. Oh Well, I guess it could be worse. I could have my 6.0 back again. Craig
When my blend door took a dump in my 2011, that is what it was doing. I think I remember them telling me it was electrically activated. It will default to the vents if it is not opening correctly .

I take it you had them do the work then? How long was it in the shop for?
I'm well out of power train. Currently at 89,000 kms.
Thanks for following up, thejean. I recommend that you reach out to my Canadian colleagues on the forum, FordServiceCA. Here's a link to their profile: FordServiceCA I know they'll be happy to do what they can to help.
They did do the work under extended warranty I had at the time. They had it for the day. The dash is taken apart to get to the controller. Not sure on price because it was covered at the time. Good luck with yours.
