Soooooooo are you suggesting if I was to put an 03 Mustang in the bed of my truck and hook up the electrics I to could have a WW Fluid level.
What if we could hook something into the Microsoft Sync and then bionic Betty could tell us when the WW Fluid level is low. I have to laugh .... the truck can tell me when the tire pressure is low and there aren't even wires connected to the tires ..... but no way are we are going to put a float level in a WW Tank. I'll bet the info centre can tell me the specific gravity of the WW Fluid, the current temperature of my a$$ in the seat, and even calculate the value of Pi but tell me when the WW Fluid is low ...... no way ..... not interesting enough I guess.
Wow, I have never had to endure driving conditions where I used washer fluid. I can go a year without filling that thing.
But - seems to me that you could make a transfer flow tank, put it in your toolbox, and pump 5 gallons of that stuff if you need it. Might be something you could sell?
ruschejj come north to the snow and enjoy all this wet sloppy salt/dirt/mud and slushy crap. I'll put 50-60K miles a year on the truck and never had a problem with the wiper fluid running out but I do refill every day or so when road condition are crap, one of those seasonal tasks to remember.
The original model T didn't have no stinkin' windshield washer low level warning gizmo.
Come to think of it, it didn't have a lot of things, and my wife's great-grandfather drove one across the country. He made it, so you don't need all dem fancy steenkin fings.
my girlfriend has an 03 mustang 6 cyl but otherwise loaded. power everything, leather, the whole 9 yds.
i have an 03 f-250 XL work truck. power nothing, vinyl seats, you get it.
however i have an accessory delay relay, she doesn't.
she has traction control with an open diff, i have an LSD but no traction control.
the funny part is that our HVAC controls are exactly the same but two differences.
she has detents on the temperature **** mine is smooth.
also i have a position for air to come out the floor and dash simultaneously with the heat on (ie, not in the AC or MAX position)
she has to choose between floor and dash, or set the **** to AC to get both with the heat on.
there are more differences...
she has to pull a **** straight out for her headlights, whereas we turn a **** to the left. ect.
where was this going?
oh!
she has a WW fluid warning light. i dont.
along this route....
my 06 lariat has autp lights. i never have to turn on the lights
my wifes 06 gt mustang which is loaded.... the gauges are always lighted up which confuses me because the damn lights are switched... no auto sensor.
normally i use all of my washer fluid in 5k. works well with my oil change schedule.
i recently changed my own oil and didnt change the washer fluid. long story short i was at autozone and got a gallon and was thinking to my self wtf am i gonna do with the half a gallon extra of this washer fluid... um yeah my truck gobbled up that gallon with room to spare.
