on the 351M 400M what is bigger on them the pressure plate or fly wheel? i know one is bigger and when i do my rebuild on my 351 i wnat to go with the bigger one if it is the pressure plate cuz i want to go bigger on power too lol
Theres a separate forum on here for the 335 engine series (351m/400). You may have better luck finding someone on there who would know the answer. Im sure someone on here does know but I myself have no idea.

second Q what cam would yall suggest?
Would putting performance heads from like a cleveland be worth it? or just get stock cleveland heads and have them milled down a little for higher compression?

You need adapter plates ($$) to use 4V Cleveland heads.
You are better off with a set of Aussie iron heads, or for a little more money a set of Edelbrock Aluminum heads or better yet CHI heads.
Who makes the flat tops for the 351M?
How much we talking for either the Aussie's or the adapter plates for the 4v Cleveland heads?
what about do both pistons and heads?
cuz i think it would be way cool to keep the original block in there otherwise id just drop a 460 in. lol
thanks for ur help so far!!!

Click on that link danlee had in his post and it will take you to Tim Meyer Inc. That's who makes flat tops for the 400. TMI will also point you in the right direction for your build.....just be sure to buy something from him and don't just bug him with questions, question don't pay the bills and he is the only guy out there that is busting his *** to develop parts specifically for the 400.
BTW for reference do NOT try to run the aussie heads with flat top pistons. Your compression ratio will be way to high for pump gas.
I don't remember the exact valve relief on Tim's pistons without looking but the aussie heads are 59cc and on a .030 overbore 400 even leaving the piston down .010 with an 8cc valve relief your at 11.75:1
