Transponder key
I have a 98 eddie bauer explorer V8 with only one key. I can purchase another key from ebay but I don't know how to program the new key. I have 1 key and the the notes I have read say you need 2 keys to program a new key.

If you only have one working key you will have to take your vehicle to the dealer to get the second key programmed.
They have to hook up either their WDS or NGS scan tool and wait 10 minutes for security access and then erase and program both keys.
