We need more info. Do you mean the bolts that hold the rear axle shaft in? Do you mean lug bolts? Or do you mean the bolts that hold the front locking hubs on?

So, are you talking about the lug nuts, or the lug studs that are pressed into the hub/rotor?

Have you disassembled the hub to make sure all the snap rings etc are in place? If they arent your axle shaft or the guts of the hub itself could be "floating" inside the bearing hub and causing them to break. Also make sure that the locking hub is seating flat to the bearing hub when you tighten up the bolts. Are they ford hubs or aftermarket?

So the F250's used lug bolts instead of lug studs with nuts? I didnt know about this. My 150 uses lug nuts not bolts.

I found some exploded views of the hubs for these trucks. Apparently there is an internal and an external type. Not sure which one is like yours.

i have had the hub completely apart. as i have actually changed the complete hub with a spare while i removed the broken bolts from the original hub. now i will have to put the original back on so i cant remove these bolts, but it still dosent explain why they are breaking in the first place.oh its an external style hub Justin's Green Truck idont think they made the 250 with an internal style that ive seen ne way.dose ne one have any ideas y they break.

You say you have it disassembled, but have you checked all of the above? How tall of tires do you have on it? How hard do you abuse the truck? There are a lot of things that could be causing them to break.

What kind of bolts are you replacing them with? Maybe over-torquing them by chance?

LET OFF THE THROTTLE once in a while,
I had a jeep cj7 with 5 bolt hubs and a lockrite locker in the front, got sick of blowing the hubs out through the woods so I upgraded to 6 bolt and never blew another one.
You have some sort of shock-load going on, does the truck have a locker in the front? One thing you may want to try is replacing the bolts with studs and nuts, that seemed to work on my Jeep.
