transmission question

Was poking around under the truck today and right above the transmission pan is a metal placard thats says "remanufactured" and a couple serial numbers, is this a good sign that the previous owner already replaced the transmission? truck has 157,000 on it, I have only had it a few weeks and the tranny feels completely solid.

well Ford wouldn't have put that in there from the factory. They may have later on though. There are a lot of dealers that just replace them now like that.

the part number on the tag is F7TZ7000NARM, couldn't find any info on that, if anybody is familiar with that part number that can help me out, just trying to see if it is a e4od or maybe something a bit different, I am new to the PSD world so I am still learning, thanks guys.

(F7TZ 7000 NA) crosses over to (F7TZ 7V000 NARM) which is a re-manufactured Ford auto transmission.
