2011 Front tow hooks
Hi Guys. Recently got stuck in a snow storm and needed to be towed out. A little embarrassing but swallowed my pride. Anyway, I was wondering if the ront tow hooks could handle being yanked on without doing damage. Was pulled out using the hitch. The front hooks are chrome(I think) but would be willing to sacrafice the finish to be pulled out in an emergency.

If you go to a store that sells rigging straps and shackle's, check out the 20-ton shackle's and compare them to your tow hooks. Also, look carefully at how Ford mounted them.
We could use a crane and hang our trucks from these things all day.
