Windshield cost???

That does seem like gouging compared to some of the prices the other guy where saying. Are the '08' windshields a different shape compared to the earlier year trucks? Can't compare my 08 to the 05 seeing that the 08 is sitting in an airport parking lot.

cash price is usually a little better deal than what insurance gets billed, but $816 for a Super Duty?? Wow I would pocket at least $700

$189 is a decent price but insist on a Pilkington. I know some people dont care but if you're picky like me and dont want wavy moldings, distorted glass, or a lack of the UV layer. PGW (ppg) is very popular but their quality has gone down the toilet, half their manufacturing has gone to China

I guess I am lucky on this situation. My step kid used to install windshields for a living. He is currently in between jobs, but knows how to do it. That and his girlfriend works for a windshield repair place. So she can get glass at a decent price. So all together we get the glass at a good price and free installation! 
But then again, you know about my Cat situation! LOL

Safelite wants $260, installed....but I bet they tell me I need the molding for another $100 after I get there.
I dont wanna pay $300 for glass. TOO MUCH!

Maryland insurance laws do not require glass coverage. Only chip repair.

Windshield replacement
What's up guy's. I was looking at the comments and really it can range any where from 100-400 to replace are windshields. The way i do it when this happen to anyone in the family i found this great place that give's you quotes on the spot and its been the best place for me and they will send you a local guy to fix for super cheap check it out if you need it.
