The diablo is capable of nothing more then global type genaric code reader. You need a real scanner to get the data you need.
Ok. I had a friend who owns a mech. Shop put his tester on there and he pulled up po261 and po275 what does this mean and is it something that can be fixed w/ by someone w/ decent mech skills?
Would like to get this fixed as soon as possible if anyone has any info
0261 is an injector circuit code for #1. 0275 is a contribution balance code for cylinder #5 which means the PCM detected a power difference in that cylinder. Normally means an injector going south. The 0261 could be wire OR FICM problem even though the voltage tests good. Those are the 1st and 3rd cylinders on the passenger side. You might try checking the injector connectors at the cylinder head also.
FWIW--I use an old Diablo Predator that works great for a code scanner and to do SOME diagnostics, but there are a LOT of things it won't show, temps being one (and important)
