I love the swap meet! I never know what i might find!!
I always thought it would be great to drive up to the Supernationals say on Tuesday and by Saturday afternoon build a truck from parts in the swapmeet! If I could title it in TN, I would love to try.
I was thinkin about goin this year. I still haven't got mine goin yet I figured up my receipts on it this year. I should have went out and bought whatever I wanted . I was wondering how big a show it is. It's a long way to drive for me . From the pictures of last year it seems like they have more new trucks than the older ones. I have always wanted to go to this show for about the past ten or fifteen years. hows the weather there this time of year?

If you like the 54 to 56 models, those are the most you will see. Next will be the 61 to 70 or so. From there they taper off. There are newer there along with some Ford nontrucks. I liked it better when it was only trucks and pre79 only, but mostly I'm glad its back in Pigeon Forge.
The first year I went, it was in Gatlinburg. 75 trucks. I've been many times, I really enjoyed it last year. Take sunscreen.
Before Gatlinburg it was in Chimney Rock, NC. After it moved a show called Run to the Rock was started. Its now the Smoky Mtn F100 Run. Useless trivia. Not 100% sure I'm correct!
OK, In 1988 or so it was in Gatlinburg ,75 trucks. a year or so later there was a different show in chimney rock, Run to the Rock. Which is now the Smokey Mtn Run. !!??
Hey thanks for the invite.... ... Maybe I'll do that some day. Its been decades since I've been in a plane.. What's with all that HomeLandSecurity Theatre stuff? Is it true they're gonna be "feeling me up"? Can I pick which hot chick gets to do it?
