Worth the money?
Hello,
Could anyone tell me if the banks powerpack is worth the money for the V-10?? If not, any suitable alternatives?
I'd just like a bit more performance and a little more exhaust sound.

You can modify a piece at a time and get a bit more performance out of the V10. Custom tunes will probably wake it up the most - intakes, filters, etc don't seem to do much of anything. You can do a full exhaust - headers, modified Y pipe and cat back and free up the breathing a bit further. I'm not sure about other peoples experience, but my headers wouldn't fit on the pass side without notching the frame rail which I wasn't willing to do. The stainless Y pipe is sitting in the back of my truck now waiting for it's chance to be installed. The exhaust I chose almost seems quieter than stock which I wasn't going for - for a good tone the Flowmaster 70 series seems to be a good choice and is what I should have waited for. Let us know what you decide and how it all works for you.
Side note- while not really giving you more power, a gear change can help with overall performance. What gears are you running now?

Can't give you the skinny for the v-10,
but can tell you that Banks marketing is EXCELLENT...
and they have to pay for that expensive marketing with absurd profits on their parts !
that, of course, is in my humble opinion !
