Transmission leak

I had it happen on my 2009 F150 about a month ago. My leak was coming from the wiring harness entry point. I sure didn't know wiring harnesses should be "wet". The dealer said that it was a simple O-ring fix. Took them about a day and a half once I took it in. On a positive note I got a free flush out of it because they had to drop the pan to replace the o-ring. They also performed the TB (technical bulletin) to the Transmission module that makes it shift smoother. I believe that hard shifting may have caused excess pressure which blew the o-ring out. I could be wrong, this is just a theory. I am in no way an expert on transmissions.....I am, however, an authority on radar.
