How would I go about extending the cab of a 72 f100? What kind of measurements would i need and all for it to become more of a supercab? Also how would I build it,sheet metal? Please help thanks.
easiest way might be to find a donor cab to combine with yours and start taking lots of measurments it will take alot of time and fabrication to look right i haven't seen any threads on anyone doing this yet not saying it hasn't been done i'd like to see others ideas on doing this as well

Well, there's a NICE 71 F100 Short Bed for sale here in Thomaston - but it's probably nicer than you're looking for if you're planning to cut it up. $4500 - but it's a very driveable, nice looking original truck. Black/Red (GA) colors too.

Can get you some pics maybe tomorrow or next week. Otherwise, you can call Elmer at Adams Motors here in Thomaston. 706-648-6243 Elmer is a friend of mine and owns this little dealership. He's asking $5500 but pretty sure he will take $4500. It is really a nice truck and actually needs nothing done to it as a nice driver. Has 302 V8, auto, ps. The bed does have a patch panel that was put in it at some point and is not "right", but it is serviceable. Truck was purchased new here in Thomaston. The interior is original and in very good condition - even the rubber floor mat is original and has no holes in it. Truck is showing 58,000 miles which I think just may be truly 58,000 - not 158,000.
P.S. - just called Elmer at home. He is going to email me a couple photos of this truck tomorrow and I'll post them on here - or - you can give him a call in the morning after 9. Don't imagine they will be open after lunch as it's Christmas Eve.

Well, my buddy sent me one photo of the truck just now. Crappy photo only shows the front end. I'll have to go to town and take some other photos and post, but this will give you an idea of how the truck looks. It's a nice one. If you are interested, give Elmer a call.

Thanks alot, doesn't look bad at all. I'll probably give him a call after the holidays. Can't wait to see more pics. Have a merry christmas
