Welcome to FTE. Fuel in the coolant usually means you've got a cracked injector cup. If you can turn a wrench and follow directions, we can probably save you a couple of thousand dollars by doing it yourself.

It's really not too bad a job, you'll need to buy or rent a tool to pull the cups, new cups, new o-rings for the injectors, and flush the coolant. We've got a few write ups with pictures down in the 99 - 03 7.3 diesel section.

The engine isn't going to blow up on you tomorrow if that's what you're asking. I know a guy who drove like that for several months, but I wouldn't recommend going that long.

Are you sure it is diesel fuel and not oil? If it is oil it will be the oil cooler. Not a bad fix. Most of the time it is the O-rings.
