After cleaning my EBPV tube I started picking away at the soot in the fitting on the bracket where the sensor mounts. It was packed tight so I removed the entire bracket. Well that bracket also seals the front of the HPOP pump (maybe or it's something else?).
There's a groove in the mating surface for what looks to me like an o-ring. This bracket just had RTV as a seal. Have any of you removed this? I'd call my local dealer but, it's Sunday and they usually look at me cross eyed when I ask for obscure parts.
Here's the back of mine. Also, the fitting on the exhaust end of my tube is messed up a bit and seperated. It should still work but not as easy as it should. I have some PB soaking now.
I RTV'd it on last night and am letting it fully cure before I fire it up. Hopefully I made my circle the right size, it's too cold to tear it down again. Surprisingly, the tube went back on way easier than it came off. I was worried about the messed up fitting but it worked.
Now my lower rad. hose is leaking at the clamp again. It was leaking last week and I tightened the clamp a bit to stop it. Well, it started again so looks like I'll be draining the rad. this weekend and re-positioning the hose. Gawd I hate this colder weather. EVERYTHING shrinks.

Try double clamping it first to see if the leak actually stops.
