Got an update from Aeroforce!

I guess they have everything working except Injector Duty Cycle. Sounds like they are considering sending everyone's gauges out and when they get the fix for the duty cycle, the diesel guys can ship it back to them for an upgrade (I assume no charge). They said they would know for sure Tuesday or Wednesday what the final verdict would be.

I told them that Injector Duty Cycle is pretty important for the 7.3L guys and I would be willing to wait a month or so to get it with Injector Duty Cycle. If not I would prefer to send it in later and I will get my fuel pressure and oil pressure sensor installed and working. I know I went with the Aeroforce to get ICP, INJ DC, Oil and Fuel Pressure in a single gauge. Since I have AE not having DC isn't a huge deal for me, but is something I do want to monitor!

Thanks for the update Ken. Where are you getting the senders and accessories from? Do you just need that for fuel pressure?

I went ahead and ordered the senders from Aeroforce along with their 5 volt power supply, when I ordered the gauge. I know I could have tapped into the trucks 5 volt VREF signal, but I prefer to not mess with something so critical for a secondary gauge feed. I thought about making a 5 volt power supply but their price for the power supply is something like $23.

Here is their SENSOR PAGE

I already have all my port adapters, now I need to determine where I pull my oil pressure from. I think I may put it in the HPOP reservoir in lieu of the plug, or maybe down on the block at my bypass filter port. The HPOP reservoir pressure should allow me to see the first sign of oil starvation if it ever happens, and that position will most likely show a lower pressure than on the side of the block. I am curious to what others think or have experimented with. I may just move it around and see what I get. Who knows I may even install another sensor and use a SPDT switch to see both of them with the gauge (individually of course), that is what I did for my dual trans temp sensors.

Joey just posted on another site that Aeroforce will be shipping these out next week.

Here's the email Joey said he got from Aeroforce:

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your patience in this matter that went on way too long.

Our testing from yesterday has shown that we can start shipping as early as Monday, or at least by mid week. It may take a weeks to clear out the current orders, at which time we'll start filling new orders for these FD gauges.

Orders will ship in the order that we received them. Unless we hear otherwise we will ship all orders received, so if any were cancelled let us know unless you already have done so. Please send this info. to Bob at orders@aeroforcetech.com.

Thank you again.

Close ups are no bueno, bro.

Take some pics in the daylight but let us see the whole picture, not a close up.

Make us want the same setup!

Well got it from UPS tonight. Hooked it up and played with it a bit. For anyone curious about what they are or how to use them, I threw this video together. I honestly did not read the instructions, just started messing around.

Great video!! Thanks a lot for teasing me!! If they were not on back order over Christmas I would of ordered one. I had to put something under the tree for the truck.
