This is exactly the correct wheel. It has 4 convex holes and 4 concave holes. You index them to fit eachother, they lock together and then into the hub. All acorn style lug nuts.
I have a set of 4 on my 78 crew cab that I am parting out, 16.5"...I just shipped out a set of 4 - 16" on saturday, if you are interested in them pm me ..
there is a lip on the dually adapter that i used and the rim center sits on and the ring allows the use of acorn lug nuts . and on the rear the center of the rim sits on the hub of the d 70 that i used out of a 4x2 76 f-350 and the ring allows the use of acorn lug nuts instead of the lug nuts that are used on mid to present dually trucks. i will be doing brakes soon an will take some pics
if you get a chance can you post up some pics of what you have, I would like to see the detail of them, always open to learn someting different, wonder if that flat ring acts as the locking feature that is in the rim itself, there is a difference in between the newer and older budd/duallie rims, cause my 88 rims won't work on my 77 and vice versa
I have to move some snow to get to where they are stored, but definately because now I am curious as well.
