Hi all, new challenge in my life. I'm replacing my S belt to get rid of the squeaking birds, and while I've got the belt off, I'm checking all the pulleys etc for noise and making sure everything is tight. On this automatic tensioner, it has two pulleys, the bolt on the smooth pulley is tight, the bolt on the ribbed pulley spins freely. Is this normal or is it stripped? and should I be replacing this assembly? If indeed I need to replace this unit, does anybody have a detailed description as how to remove it? (I can wire your shop faster than I can play mechanic!)
