I'm having difficulty trying to remove the fan shaft from the water pump pulley. I can't seem to find the location to attach a second wrench to stop the pulley from moving. The belt is still connected, but as I attempt to turn the shaft to unscrew it, the pulley moves.
I know that there are special tools which I am using. I simply can't find the location to attach the second wrench to to hold the pulley in place while I turn the fan shaft. I looked on the new pump and its just a round shaft on the pump. Can't find any place on the round pulley either. The fan shaft butts up flush with the pulley.
Where should I be looking? This water pump is not the old flange style, its the new style with the O-ring.
