Rear end Gears???
Which gears would be better in a 1967 F100 I-6 300 with a 4 speed w/overdrive manual trans out of a 1985 F150.. 3.20 which is in the truck or 3.70 gears which I have in a parts truck??? Just rebuilt the engine and put the trans in it. Just using for a daily beater!

With the OD, the 3.70 should be a better all round package. I would test drive it for a while first to see if the engine could handle the 3.25 ratio without lugging.
I have a 2.75 gear & have run it in my truck. I currently run a 3.00 that I have not pulled back out in over 10 years to reuse the 2.75.
I roast my meats in my Weber grill, bossman aint gonna roll no tires but he'll roll 100+ in 2nd gear.
