4" downpipe

Gents,
I was just thinking of doing this on my 02 Dually. I did this on my 97 years ago and have to admit it was a pain trying to fit that darn thing in between the firewall. Does the 02 have the same issue when trying to slide a larger downpipe into place? If so I might balk on doing this. Kinda hoping the 4" dp would go in a bit easier than my 97. Thanks Maxx

A number of years ago, I installed a 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust on my 02 with no additional helping hands. I did not have any problem getting the downpipe dropped in and installed.

Thanks for the input guys. I just remember having to spread the opening on the 97 model which was not fun. Sounds like this is not an issue with the 02. thanks again..Maxx
