What comes with the Custom Cab option?

 

Ford introduced the Custom Cab option for the 1955 Ford F-100 pickup. Although basically a new name for the 1954 Ford DeLuxe cab, it added 17 amenities, including foam rubber cushions, color-keyed two-tone upholstery, armrests, dual horns, light gray sun visors, side bolsters, kick and door panels, headliner, and sound deadener. A large Custom Cab emblem was on the doors just below the window, and chrome plating decorated the upper grille bar and drip rail. I believe there was the chrome strip on the dash also, but I'm sure there is someone out there with way more knowledge than me...

 

There was a stainless molding on the front drip rail and a stainless strip across the instrument panel and on the door trim pad.

 

Did ford ever do the interior in two tone paint? Thanks for responding.

 

Also, the vent window frame was bright metal as was the Divider bar. The headliner was perforated for better acoustics.
