It came in yesterday at lunch. I have already found that sweet spot on the freeway. My average of 15 mpg to and from work has improved, but my drive time is now slower.
My ECT and EOTs read about 5 degrees apart using the numbers from the PDF. On my way home today, the EOTs did not read at all though. Not sure why, as it worked perfectly at lunch.
I mounted it with the included velcro, but I already plan on making a metal bracket and drilling a hole to pass the wire through with a grommet.

Well, here's a night shot with flash that I just ran outside to snap for you two. I plan on running the wire through the top so you won't see that excess wire looped around.
I went and drove around again....15 mpg running through neighborhood streets to the pizza joint. EOTs back on.
I think the only negatives to mounting there are the fact that I cannot see my turn signal indicators.
ya, i really am not concerned about the indicators either.
I do want to mount it better with a metal bracket instead of the velcro. I may run to the store and pick up some grommets at lunch and finish it off this weekend.

I put mine on the deck below hotnanas. If you don't know what gear your in you shouldn't be driving.
It took me seconds to install following the well written included instructions. But, I feel like punching the keys this morning.
This is what I did:
1. Locate OBDii plug above the gas pedal below dash.
2. Plug cat5 cable into Scangauge.
3. Place velcro on gauge and mount wherever you like, I liked the top of dash.
4. Pull left side of dash panel to unclip it.
5. Remove fuse panel
6. Feed wire from dash down to OBDii. Secure excess wire with a twist tie.
7. push dash back in.
8. reinstall fuse panel.
9. turn on truck.
10. plug in OBDii plug
done with the basic install.
You have now spent more time reading my post than it took me to install. Really, it's that easy.
Now, you will hit the Home button > more > more till you see Xgauge
I found some other codes here on FTE in several threads, that I will post when I run back out to my truck and find my paperwork where I scribbled everything on it.
