Hello !! need some advice/ help!!!
I have a 2000 flex fuel 3.0 ranger automatic extended cab .. and had a small headlight fire on the passenger side of the truck LOL!! that said the problem is that it damaged the engine wiring harness ... ford says its obsoleet and no longer available so the questions i have are???
1. does the 3.0 and 4.0 share the same engine wiring harness?
2. does anyone that has done an engine swap have a harness they would like to gt rid of?
3. ANY OTHER HELP OR ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

I would think that the 3.0L flex fuel harness has to be unique because of the extra engine management control involved (flex fuel sensor/module). You might want to inquire about that possibility.

ford still makes. this is a 4wd but it appears others are available.
