another heat issue

so i have no reason for it but my heat is working normal. friday night i had to work so i took the flatbed home and let my truck in the heated shop, saterday after i got off of my other job i went and got my pickup and took it for a drive to the store, heat worked normal entire drive, about 15-20 miles, later on this afternoon when i drove it it was normal as well as when my friend borrowed the truck to pull a trailer, he said great heat, never lost it and coolant temp was stable. so what ever it was it seemed to fix it self, maybe an air pocket.
