My 2011 f250 looks like a 2 wheel drive truck. I was OK with it until I loaded it up with half a tree and drove through a rutted out field. The front was scraping everywhere.
There seems to be some good 4-6 lift kits on the market but I also saw some good leveling kits.
With the leveling kits, what are people doing about the change in track bar angles and pitman arm lengths? So any kits come with trackbar relocation kits and dropped longer pitman arms?
If you put a leveling kit on it definately put the 350 blocks in the rear..otherwise it will looks like its saggin. IMO no matter what a level says when you put it on the bed rails to determine a level ride..to me it still looks like its sagging without the proper rear blocks. On my last truck I did the leveling kit and f350 blocks with longer front shocks and went about my life just fine. You can go that route or just flat out lift it, most popular name brand kits Im sure come with everything you need to get the job done right.

Thanks for the reply.
I had a rancho kit on my 04.5 f150 and was happy with it. They seem to put a great amount of research in to these lift systems any more.
They just released a 4 inch kit that is very tempting but then a leveling kit is less intrusive and way cheaper.
I went with a 2" Auto Spring and Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir shocks. Getting a alignment done when the tires go on tomorrow. I'll post some pics when it is done.
I'm very interested in the ride change after the Bilstein's were installed. Also wondering how much road noise you get with the new tires. Would love to see pics also.

The truck definitely rode better with the new shocks. I'm sure it will be better after an alignment. I'll hopefully get it back in the next few hours.
Post some pics please. Tomorrow mine is getting 2" in the front, 4" block in the rear, Rancho 9000's and 35" Trail Grapplers. The Michellins are performing horribly in the snow even with 600 lbs. in the bed!!!

Sorry for the stupid question but if you put 2" in front and 4" in rear won't it sit the same as it does now just higher? Do you have to lift it that far to get the tires to fit or is it just preference? I also would like to see some pics of both trucks after work is done.
Ok. Here are some pics that I grabbed real quick. Truck has the 2" front leveling kit from Autospring, Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir shocks, and BFG A/T KO 285/65/20 Tires. The front springs have to settle a bit. The front of my truck is about a 1/2" lower than the rear. When it settles, there should be an inch difference.

You are correct. I believe the front only needs lifted to accomodate the 35's. I wanted to keep the truck level and gain just a little space in the wheel well for looks. I will post some pics sometime this weekend.
