engine repacement

have 86' f150 and thinking about replacement of engine, 302 v-8 efi right now, seems that it might be easier to put in a carbureted version. Less electrical things to deal with and easier on the pocket. Any comment?

The motor and trans would be cheaper yea, but you also have to take into consideration switching the fuel system over to work with a carb setup as well as the ignition system
