Just finished a complete front end rebuild, hubs, ujoints, axle seals, ball joints, ect. Truck was sitting for about 5 weeks with just under a 1/4 tank of fuel. threw some diesel kleen and 100% petroleum fuel in. left to go to work and headed up hill the truck was bogging down with a check engine light on. about 10 miles down the road problem stopped and light went off. when i got home from work i changed the fuel filter. today left for work and same problem engine bogging down like it was running out of fuel. the problem stopped after about 10 miles. the truck drove fine both days on the way home. Any suggestions? btw 2002 7.3L auto
can you still pull codes even though light is not on? i believe the cps was changed before i bought the truck but i will check again. i cleaned the ebvp hose and sensor as well, no fix. also it has been an average of about 15 degrees here in illinois dont know if that makes a difference.
