im not sure where my friend ordered these from but id say i was VERY impressed with the quality of the set up. it was 20$ for a 35w any k bulb and another 10$ for the lo/hi(waste of money IMO) and and another 10$ for the 55w upgrade. i gave him 50$ and called it a day. all weather proof pigtails and super easy to install into the stock 9007 headlight socket. they even seperate at the head for easy of install for thoes who go with the hi lo for the magnetic bulbs. i found the hard way that they seperate... i tried to force the fat pigs up the top of the holder LOL was a bit of a hair raiser getting it back out with out breaking the bulb and filiment..

Don't put HID's in the stock diffuser lens housings, they won't do you any good and they'll probably blind oncoming traffic. You need the clear headlights to run HID's.
I chose 55w 5000k because it is about the whitest light you can get.

agreed, aftermarket head lamps will be best, smoked ones like mine look pretty sweet, no issues

these are before i readjusted them, adjusted them last night and oh man its perfect now, no more spots and the entire road is lit up perfect.

the picture from in the cab does not do just at all. i could see the boat at the end clear as day, iphone agrees to disagree.. lol

I think they are very similar if not the same as the stock lenses. IMHO.

ebay for the clear lights.... anywhere with a good warranty on HID's.

Its been my experience its not worth spending big bucks on HID's though.

If you want HIDs and don't want to be having to change ballasts or bulbs anytime soon, look at the Retro Solutions setup. If you want the brightest HIDs you can get, get the Retro 55w kit since theirs is about the only TRUE 55w kit out there.
